Grilled Brats with spicy peach salsa

Ingredients

  • 4 - Ripe Peaches, diced

  • 1/4 - Small Red Onion, finely diced

  • 2 Tbsp - Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1 Tbsp - Fresh Lime Juice

  • 1 tsp - Granulated Sugar

  • 1/2 - Fresh Habanero Pepper or Jalapeño Pepper, finely diced (remove ribs and seeds from the pepper)

  • 1/2 tsp - Kosher Salt

  • 1/8 tsp - Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all salsa ingredients in a small mixing bowl, stirring to combine well.  Let it sit in the fridge while you prepare the bratwursts

  2. Toast some Brioche hotdog buns.

  3. Grill brats 15-20 minutes, smoke them for 30-40 minutes, or fry them in a pan 12-15 minutes turning frequently to prevent burning and uneven cooking.  

  4. Add your favorite toppings on the Bratwurst sandwich with the spicy peach salsa and enjoy a fresh, juicy summer sandwich.
